At Family Barbershop in Kissimmee, the Whole Family Gets a Chair
Since 2016, this Kissimmee shop has cut hair for toddlers, grandparents, and everyone in between. New clients can try it for $20 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Family Barbershop has cut hair in Kissimmee since 2016, with a menu that runs from kids' cuts at age 1 to seniors' cuts at 62 and up. Customers pick from barbers with their own specialties, and new clients get any haircut for $20 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The price list at Family Barbershop starts with kids as young as 1 and ends with a seniors' cut for customers 62 and up. That range is the whole idea. In a September Instagram post, the Kissimmee shop described three generations sitting in the same chair: "Grandad's lineup, dad's fade, the kid's first cut."
The shop opened in 2016, according to its website, and today it runs out of 2611 Simpson Rd, seven days a week.
A barber for every kind of cut
Customers here book a specific barber, and each one lists a specialty on the shop's website. Elvin Rodriguez does skin fades and designs. Kelvo is the go-to for designs and lineups. Rafy is listed as a texture specialist, Jose handles classic cuts, and Peter is the beard and style expert. Bebo and Ricardo cover precision cuts, fades, and beards.
Peter has built a following of his own. One Google reviewer called him "hands down the best barber I've ever been to." Another wrote that Peter greeted them on a walk-in visit after the Covid lockdown, and six years later they still come in every other Friday.
Past the haircuts, the menu covers beards, shape ups, and eyebrows, and the shop tells customers to ask about designs, hot towel shaves, hair color, and beard dye.
Why people keep coming back
The shop holds 4.3 stars from 191 Google reviews, and the theme reviewers bring up most is the family feel. One parent wrote about a barber who was "extremely patient and gentle" with a 4-year-old. A customer quoted on the shop's website put it more simply: "The people here are funny, friendly, the music is always a vibe."
Trying it for the first time
New clients get any haircut for $20 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9 AM to 7 PM, kids or adults, with eyebrows included. Adding a beard brings it to $25. Regular prices start at $25 for a cut with eyebrows and $35 for a style cut with eyebrows and beard. There was no end date on the offer when I checked on November 1, 2026.
Walk-ins are welcome every day, from 9 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Sunday. To get a specific barber, book ahead through the "Pick your barber" section of familybarbershopfl.com or call (407) 978-6879.
What I noticed
What I noticed: The shop has almost 5,000 followers on Instagram, but its 12 most recent posts, from September 1 to October 31, are all still photos. I didn't see any video, and neither the website nor the Instagram bio links to TikTok or YouTube. For a shop with this many specialists, that's a missed chance. Twenty seconds of Elvin finishing a skin fade or Kelvo cutting a design would show off the work better than any photo, and Instagram and TikTok both show short videos to people who don't follow you yet. That's how a lot of new clients would hear about the $20 first cut.
