Rizzo Micro Bakery is a husband-and-wife cottage bakery in St. Cloud that sells naturally leavened sourdough through scheduled preorder bake sales. Order and pay at rizzomicrobakery.com, then pick up on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. There is no walk-in shopping.

"Some breads bring a taste of home," Rizzo Micro Bakery wrote on Instagram on Oct. 29, 2026, introducing its Pan Sobao, "our sourdough take on a Puerto Rican favorite." Two days later it announced the C&R Loaf by Lydia, a soft sourdough filled with cinnamon and raisin.
Both come out of a home kitchen in St. Cloud, where Julissa and Joseph, a husband and wife, run Rizzo as a cottage bakery. Nothing is sold over a counter. Customers order and pay online for a scheduled bake sale, then collect on Sunday afternoon. The homepage tagline reads "Est. 2025."
The maker and the voice of reason
The About page splits the work plainly. Julissa is the head baker, "the dreamer and maker, always imagining new products, flavors, and possibilities." Joseph is "the steady encourager, trusted partner, and voice of reason who believed this dream could become a reality." The Instagram bio, signed by both, sums up the operation in six words: "Small batch, big heart."
Staying small is the point. "Because we stay intentionally small, each product receives the personal care and detail that define our bakery," the About page says.
What comes out of the oven
The menu changes from sale to sale. The Chocolate After Dark is a sourdough loaf with bloomed cocoa powder and dark and semi-sweet chocolate chips. The Pane Aromatico is made with Asiago, Romano and Parmesan cheeses and Italian herbs. The Golden Crust Bagels, the product page says, are "traditionally boiled in barley malt water, creating that signature shine and deep, classic bagel flavor." The O.G., with sliced jalapeños and cheddar, is a loaf the site calls a customer favorite, though it was not on the schedule when I checked.
Two newer offerings point past the Sunday sale. Scone subscriptions, launched in October 2026, put Blueberry Sunshine, Cranberry Sunshine or Sourdough S'mores scones on a weekly or every-other-week pickup. The Rizzo Starter Studio has guides for bringing the bakery's dehydrated starter back to life at home. Delivery goes to one place: the Osceola County Courthouse, usually on the Monday after a bake.
What customers say
The bakery's own site shows 10 reviews averaging 5.0, all from October 2026. Natasha wrote on Oct. 27: "I was pleasantly surprised that the scones were so large too!" The one review on Google, from Karen, reads: "Bought a small loaf last week and I'm hooked, best sourdough I have ever eaten!" The bakery answered Karen by name and named the loaf, its Pane Aromatico.
How to order
Order at rizzomicrobakery.com. The next bake sale is Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, with pickup from 4 to 6 p.m. in St. Cloud. For the Oct. 25 sale, orders closed the Friday before at 7 p.m., and the bakery posts each sale's cutoff on Instagram. On Nov. 1 the Pane Aromatico was listed at $6 for a small loaf and $12 for a full one, and the Mini Loaf Flight Box at $18. Scone subscriptions save 5% weekly or 3% every two weeks.
Scone and starter orders have their own weekly pickup windows, listed on the contact page. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and custom orders need two weeks' notice whenever possible.
What I noticed
What I noticed: On Nov. 1, 2026, Rizzo's own site showed 10 five-star reviews, and Google showed one. Someone searching Google Maps for sourdough in St. Cloud sees the one. The bakery is already doing the hard part: its site has a "Write a Review" button that points to Google, and it answered Karen's review by name. Most customers won't go looking for that button on their own. Adding the same Google review link to the pickup-day or order-confirmation message, and keeping the replies as personal as the one to Karen, would let the Maps listing catch up with what customers already say on the bakery's site.
Sign up for the bake alerts, and start with the Chocolate After Dark. Preorder at rizzomicrobakery.com. You'll be glad you did.
